Nursery
Our Nursery is a teacher led facility which is fully integrated into the main school Academy and is part of the Early Years Team.
It is a social enterprise which offers the best quality and value service for our Parents/Carers from age 3. It mirrors the school day and term dates of the main school and through shared planning with the rest of the Foundation Team offers a completely consistent curriculum which gives our children the very best start.
Our Nursery children are able to access all the other school services including the Before and After School 'Lighthouse Club'.
Children registered at the Nursery must apply for a place in Foundation.
Please click on the documents below or contact us directly for further information.

Fees and Funding
All three and four year olds are entitled to a free Early Years education place for 570 hours a year over no fewer than 38 weeks of the year. We expect to admit children that will be using their Early Years Education Funding and those that are buying hours. There may be some children who are only attending for funded hours and some that only attend for a combination of funded and bought hours. The minimum amount of funded time in a day is 3 hours and the maximum is 9 hours.
A morning or afternoon session is £11, or a full day is £22. Fees are paid via the Teachers2Parents app, which you will be invited to join once your child starts in Nursery.
To apply for 30 hours funding for the first time, there is a deadline for Plymouth City Council:
- 31st August – for a September start (autumn term)
- 31st December – for a January start (spring term)
- 31st March – for an April start (summer term)
If the deadlines above are missed, Plymouth City Council will not accept your code for that entire term. This code needs to be renewed every three months and it is the parents or carers responsibility to do this with HMRC. Further information can be found: www.childcarechoices.gov.uk Tel: 03001234097
