School Lunches
We have our own 'in house' catering team that provide healthy, fun and nutritionally balanced meals for all the children and staff here at Oreston Community Academy.
Through the Food Critics Group we ensure the direct involvement of the children who give their feedback of what should be on the menu.
The children also volunteer as Waiters and Waitresses at lunchtimes.
We also use locally sourced seasonal produce from our suppliers and use it from our own allotment when it is available.
We believe that we offer very good value for money at the same time as exceeding all the nutritional guidelines.
We aim to make lunchtimes fun and interesting as well as interactive and educational.
