During the week beginning 4th July 2016 the children at Oreston took part in various sporting activities as part of Health Week. Health week provides children with the opportunity to experience traditional sports (as well as some non-traditional) and learn about the benefits of exercise. It also provides the children in KS2 to practise their leadership skills by leading activities for the children in KS1 and Foundation. Some of the activities we had running were: Bell Boating, Frisbee Golf, Football, Boccia and many more. Thank you to all the staff at school and to the staff at Plymouth Sports Partnership for helping to ensure that our children had an exciting, enriching week. There was a brilliant buzz around the school and the week was a great success.
